Terms of Sale

These terms cover every payment you make to SuguCu on sugucu.com or through a SuguCu payment link: what you pay, how, in which currency, and how your card details are kept safe.

SuguCu runs three services: SuguCu Studio, SuguCu Screen and SuguCu Listings. Every payment is made to Sugar Curate.

What These Cover

Any payment to SuguCu made on sugucu.com, on our checkout page at sugucu.com/pay, or through a payment link we send you. That includes:

  • SuguCu Studio monthly plans, one-off projects, extra projects, and costs we pass on at cost (such as ad spend and shoots).
  • SuguCu Screen advertising cycles booked at go.sugucu.com.
  • SuguCu Listings at listings.sugucu.com. Listing is free today, so there is nothing to pay.

Prices and Currency

  • Our prices and bills are in US dollars (US$). Where a bill is in Eastern Caribbean dollars (EC$), the checkout shows that currency before you pay.
  • Your card is charged in the currency shown on your payment page.
  • The amount on your payment page is the amount charged. We add no card fee or surcharge.
  • If your card is in another currency, your bank converts the amount and may charge its own fee. That is between you and your bank.

How Payment Works

  • We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover cards.
  • Each bill or booking has its own payment link. It opens our checkout page, which shows who you are paying, what for, the reference and the amount, before you pay.
  • You tick that you agree to these terms and our Refunds & Cancellations policy, then enter your card on our payment provider's secure form.
  • Card payments are processed by Cybersource, a Visa company, for our bank, Bank of Nevis.
  • You can still pay by bank transfer. The details are on every bill.

Card Security

  • You type your card details into a secure form provided by Cybersource. They go straight from your browser to Cybersource, never to SuguCu.
  • We never see, receive or store your full card number or security code. From a payment we keep only the result, the card brand and the last 4 digits.
  • Every page is sent over an encrypted connection (HTTPS, TLS).
  • Cybersource is a PCI DSS compliant service provider, listed on Visa's Global Registry of Service Providers. PCI DSS is the card industry's security standard.
  • Our checkout page runs no advertising or tracking scripts, and it only loads code from our own site and from Cybersource.

When a Sale Is Complete

  • A sale is complete when your bank approves the payment and Cybersource confirms it to us. The checkout page then shows Paid.
  • A receipt comes by email from billing@sugucu.com.
  • Sometimes a payment needs an extra check. The page then says so, and we email you once it's settled. You won't be charged twice.
  • If your bank declines a payment, nothing is charged. You can try again or pay by bank transfer.

Refunds and Cancellations

How to cancel, what can be refunded and how long it takes are set out on Refunds & Cancellations. How each service reaches you is on Delivery.

Card refunds always go back to the card you paid with.

Your Own Terms Come First

These terms are about paying. The service itself is set by the terms you agreed for it:

  • Studio plans and projects: the Terms you accepted with your proposal, kept on your portal.
  • Screen bookings: the Terms on go.sugucu.com at the time you booked.

If those terms say something different about the service, they are the ones that count.

Export Restrictions

We sell services only. We don't sell or ship physical goods, so nothing is exported. Files and reports are delivered online.

We don't accept payments that would break sanctions or other laws that apply to us.

Law and Changes

These terms are governed by the laws of St. Kitts and Nevis.

Each version has a date at the top. The version shown when you pay is the one that applies to that payment.
